Matthew W. Johnson, MD, FACS is an experienced urologist with special training in laparoscopic surgery, prostatectomy and kidney stone treatment. He strives to solve the health issues of his patients while helping them to understand their condition and how to best treat the individual based on their lifestyle.

Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He spent his urology residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Johnson performed the first robotically-assisted prostatectomy in Wisconsin and has given numerous presentations on advancements in the treatments of prostate cancer and kidney stones.

Dr. Johnson is a member of many medical associations including the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association and the Minimally-Invasive Robotic Association. He was awarded the Family Practice Teaching Award for six consecutive years and currently serves as Chief of Surgery at St Luke's Medical Center.
